Done Deal I

Har köpt in mig på hemsidan DONE DEAL PRO, en betalsite med fokus på Hollywood produktionsvärld.

En mycket underhållande plats där man får tillgång till fakta om alla de dealar som gjorts inom film och tv. Om man vill se vad för typer av filmer som är "inne" för tillfället är detta the place to be!

Man måste dock ta dessa fakta med en nypa salt: bara för att en idé blivit såld (ibland handlar det om att en idé sålts på en effektiv pitch) så innebär det inte per automatik att den omedelbums blir producerad. Nä, den kan mycket väl ha ett DEVELOPMENT HELL framför sig...

Eftersom siten Done Deal inte har rättigheterna på fakta om gjorda dealar, så finns det ingenting som hindrar dessa fakta att arbeta sig vidare på nätet.
Till exempel in på min blogg :)

Så för WFTMs läsares höga nöjes skull kommer jag att då och då publicera nya och intressanta dealar som så småningom (förhoppningsvis) kommer att hitta vägen till våra biodukar och dvd-spelare.

Denna första laddning filmer-på-g är strictly horror. Det är inte mycket fakta som presenteras, endast en logline. Ibland finns mer matnyttigt under rubben "more". Men ofta ser man vart det är på väg på dessa korta rader.

Men, alltså. Alla dessa remakes? Speciellt av filmer som redan är i det närmast perfekta, som Poltergeist och Romsemarys baby?. Jag förstår mig inte på hollywood.

Sen så tycker jag att de gärna fick göra film av Steve Niles 30 dys of night: Dead space, eller vad den nu heter. Vampyrer i rymden. Skulle ju kunna bli bra. :)

Visst är det sjukt!?
Vafan, ROSEMARYS BABY - ska nån fransk horror-dagslända komma och göra om Polanskis fantastiska jobb?
POLTERGEIST - vad kan dom göra bättre förutom specialeffekterna?
NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET - ska dom ta in Robert Englund och göra om sin roll från början igen? Eller ska dom ta in nån "ung, het" spoling som Freddy? Dumt!

Annars så är jag nog mer förtjust i de 30 DAYS OF NIGHT som står med fötterna på jorden... bokstavligt talat.
Att ta dom ut i rymden blir för konstruerat. Och den historien slutar ju med att en vampyr hitchhikar med en räddningskapslel till jorden, vilket innebär att hela den storyn egentligen bara blir en prolog till - just det - vampyrer på jorden.

Jag har en förkärlek till skräck i rymden, men du har nog helt rätt. Den slutar lite löjligt till och med. :) Bara de följer storyn (hyfsat) i seriealbumen så ser jag dock gärna fler 30 days of night. Jag gillade speciellt albumet där byn attackeras igen, men den här gången får de hjälp av huvudpersonerna från första albumet.

Kul att du nappade på Done Deal, det är mycket prisvärt. Kolla även in trackingb.com, en något bredare men dyrare variant. Där hänger alla Hollywood-hot-shots. Siten som drivs av någon hemlighetsful som går under namnet The Insider listar sales, jobb, men också spec som går ut på marknaden. Det är helt enkelt ett komplett trackingboard. Då info är kul inte bara som färskvara, finns gratisalternativet, nämligen att läsa två veckor gamla inlägg. De är så generösa så allt postat två veckor och tillbaka inte är lösenordsskyddat. How about that? Tja

Nej, inte förstara ännu en grym film, så som ROsmary's baby, med en remake. Experimentet med Psycho räckte känner jag.
